According to the developed analytical model, the dependences of the phase composition, yield strength and hardness of 20CrNi4V and 25Cr2Mo1V steels on the cooling rate are constructed, their isothermal and thermokinetic diagrams are constructed. The dependence of the microstructure and hardness of 25Cr2Mo1V steel on the cooling rate was experimentally established, it was shown that the hardness of this steel is in a narrow range (38-44 HRC). It was shown that tempering of 25Cr2Mo1V steel at temperatures of 500-600 °C for 1-9 hours leads to the formation of approximately the same microstructure - the structure of tempering bainite. It was established that tempering at 550 °C for 5 hours. provides the highest hardness of steel 25Cr2Mo1V, due to the smallest block sizes of the crystal lattice.
