This includes of studies of three levels of organization of biological systems: molecular-genetic level, organism and species/population level. The integrated approach with the simultaneous use of molecular-genetic, biochemical and phenotypic methods was provided for the first time. This makes the possibility to evaluate the biodiversity of gobiid fish and to clarify their intraspecific structure. The results of the round goby Neogobius melanostomus (Pallas) study in the Black Sea and Sea of Azov region indicate the presence of two distinguished population: Azov and Black-Sea one. Both studied gobiid species, round goby and monkey goby Neogobius fluviatilis (Pallas), forms in the North-Western Black Sea and coastal water bodies the local fish factions of subpopulation level.
