Description

In the study, new knowledge of agricultural practice was obtained in conditions of a significant decrease in areas and intensity of irrigation and also global warming. A significant decrease in area of actually irrigated land, an increase in temperature and an increase in arid weather and a deterioration in the moisture supply of plants during the growing season, a decrease in the technological culture of arable farming cause a significant deterioration in the ameliorative state of chernozems as a result of their degradation processes. The intensification of the processes of dehumification and deterioration of the agrophysical properties of chernozems are especially unfavorable, in particular, such as destructuring and compaction, reduction of water permeability and water loss of humus horizons. A set of ameliorative measures has been developed for an ecologically safe farming system for the chernozem zone of Ukraine which are adapted to modern agro-environmental conditions and climate change. The pilot production test of elements of intensive agricultural technologies in the implementation of the adaptive potential of agricultural crops on the chernozems of the south of Ukraine in conditions of climate change has been improved and carried out.
