Based on the results of computer screening, a purposeful synthesis of new esters of neurotransmitter amino acids (GABA, glycine) with terpenoids (menthol, thymol, carvacrol, guaiacol, borneol, eugenol) was carried out. Mono-/bicyclic terpenes as well as their esters with neurotransmitter amino acids, have been found to be compounds of combined action that are capable of simultaneously affecting the central and peripheral nervous systems confirmed by the presence of anticonvulsant, analgesic and anti-inflammatory activity in these compounds.
