New ideas and products, advanced technologies and organizational solutions are increasingly determining the success of entrepreneurial activity, ensuring the survival and financial stability of enterprises. In turn, the innovative orientation of the strategy and tactics of the development of economic activity places new requirements on the content, organization and methodology of management activities, which necessitates the formation and improvement of specific forms of innovation activity. The problem of innovative development management mechanisms formation of the commodity circulation sphere enterprises and organizations has not yet found complete and comprehensive coverage in the economic literature, researches of scientists concern only certain aspects of the problem. It is necessary to work out ways of formation and further development of innovative processes in the sphere of commodity circulation, which requires generalization of appropriate theoretical and methodological approaches in view of the acquisitions of both national and world science and practice, research of organizational and economic aspects and determinants of influence on these. Development of innovative processes in the sphere of commodity circulation of Ukraine needs to solve such urgent problems as: formation of a mechanism for managing innovative development of economic systems, ensuring the efficiency of formation and utilization of innovative potential of enterprises, making calculations on the effectiveness of investing in innovation, substantiation of directions of priority innovative options and alternative priority development solutions.
