Nanostructured "core-shell" type catalysts with magnetically sensitive core on the base of transition metals were synthesized, their composition and structure were determined. The obtained nanocomposites were tested as catalysts in Fenton process at methylene blue oxidation. The degree of dye destruction was found to depend on the dye nature, the ratio between the concentrations of catalyst and dye and the previous stage of dye adsorption. The synthesized catalysts demonstrated high catalytic activity and reusability without loss of their properties. 2. The technique of synthesis of crosslinked polyacrylate / silica materials based on acrylic acid, acrylonitrile, 3- sulfopropyl acrylate potassium salt and TEOS sol-gel system was developed. By the sum of characteristics (proton conductivity, water uptake, thermal stability, etc.) the synthesized materials are promising for the use as proton-conducting membranes inf methanol fuel cells. 3. On the basis of SAW (self-avoiding walk) statistics, the equation of the conformational state of the interstitial polymer chain was derived. The elastic properties of the conformational volume were expressed by the conformation pressure. It was proved that for the same degree of deformation the force for the interstitial chain is 5,3 times higher and the strain of the interstitial polymer chain is 12,1 times higher than that for the linear polymer chain.
