The object of the study is mental and behavioral disorders due to the use of psychoactive substances in the form of addiction syndrome. The purpose of the GDR is to develop methodological and organizational approaches to forensic psychiatric assessment of psychoactive substance dependence in criminal proceedings. Research methods - informational-analytical; epidemiological; clinical and psychopathological; method of expert study of case files and medical records; statistical methods. Objectives of the research phase: to investigate the practice of conducting homogeneous and complex ETS and SNE in different regions of Ukraine, as well as on their own expert material (examinations conducted at the Ukrainian Research Institute of Social and Forensic Psychiatry and Addiction, and at the Kiev City Center for Forensic Psychiatric Examination).
