Long-term functional results were also studied in 76 patients who underwent septoplasty surgery less then 3 years ago before 2015 inclusive, who had not undergone PARM before surgery. These patients showed functionally unsatisfactory results in 25% after 3 years, which required the further treatment of chronic vasomotor rhinitis. Thus, conducting rhinomanometric studies using the PARM method in patients who undergo surgery - septoplasty, avoids complications in the long term (the formation of chronic vasomotor rhinitis). In addition, an examination using the PARM method in patients with chronic rhinitis allows one to correctly choose the conservative treatment methods. Based on the obtained results, a scheme for preoperative examination of patients was developed, including PARM based on the improved scheme with a set of functional tests and subsequent comparison of the obtained indicators with the results of endoscopic and computed tomography studies. Such analysis of the characteristics of the respiratory space of the nasal cavity and paranasal cavities allows us to determine the optimal volume of surgical interventions or options for conservative treatment of chronic rhinitis.
