Description

Experimental and theoretical studies were performed in two main areas: direction 1) 3D nanostructures of graphene/graphene oxide with single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs): creation and investigation of their properties; direction 2) properties of 3D nanostructures of graphene/oxidized graphene or carbon nanotubes with biomolecules. Modern biochemical, biophysical and nanotechnological methods have been applied to create new 3D nanostructures based on GO, SWNTs and biomolecules. The structures of the hybrids, the interaction between the components were analyzed by quantum mechanical calculations and molecular dynamics method.
