The aim of this work is to study the fire resistance of building structures of warehouses for the storage of flammable and combustible liquids. The relevance of the work. One of the main criteria for calculating the fire resistance of any building structure is to determine the temperature-time dependence of the development of the fire. According to DSTU B B.1.1-4-98 "Fire Protection. Building Structures. Fire Test Methods. General Requirements" design fire resistance is an indicator of the fire resistance of a structure, determined by the time from the start of the fire test at standard temperature conditions until one of the normal of this design fire resistance limit states (REI). Although this mode has been used for many years, it is obvious that the amount of combustion of flammable and combustible liquids such as gasoline, diesel fuel, acetone, xylene, toluene, alcohols, benzene, etc. significantly exceeds the values of the standard temperature curve. Based on this, the question arises whether the normative limit of fire resistance of building elements of building structures of warehouses for storing flammable and combustible liquids is too high, since structural elements will heat up to a greater extent during a more intense fire and, accordingly, one of the limiting states may occur faster. In addition, according to DBN B.1.1.7-2016 “Fire safety of construction objects”, when calculating the fire resistance of building structures, the stage should be taken into account to determine the corresponding nominal temperature regimes (such as the standard temperature regime, the temperature regime of an external fire, the temperature regime of a hydrocarbon fire).
