The purpose of the research - formation of a modern system of biosecurity and prevention of biodestruction of archives and documents of state archives. Research methods: general microbiological and entomological methods, microscopy methods, analysis and synthesis. In the course of the research, the study of the current microbiological and entomological state of the archives and documents of nine state archives was done. Eleven acts have been completed and recommendations have been made to improve the microbiological and entomological status of the repositories. The results of the research can be used in the practical, scientific and methodological activity of the state archival institutions of Ukraine, branch scientific institutions, separate institutions of the NAH of Ukraine, in the work of specialized departments of institutions of higher education.
