Models of means for monitoring and controlling of the electric network modes with an electromechanical load comparable to the power network have been developed. The effectiveness of the application of the proposed network mode control system as a whole and the developed semiconductor controller to limit the starting overcurrents of the network and its voltage drawdowns at the load input has been proved. The ranges within which the parameters of the elements of the semiconductor controller are determined to ensure its most efficient operation in the network and the proper electromagnetic compatibility of the controller with the network are determined. Based on the research results, patents were obtained for a three-phase bridge thyristor adjustable reactive power compensator and a device for regulating the reactive power of a power capacitor battery.
