A list of indicators of database and metadata as well as a format for their presentation are proposed taking into account the needs of strategic governance of the region development. Recommendations on the development of new interactive statistical products taking into account the needs of users are developed. The structure and content of metadata are justified as a necessary condition for ensuring transparency, accessibility and comprehensibility of the regional statistical system in Ukraine.
