Description

Blood cells are an active participant in both blood clotting and fibrinolysis. A number of plasminogen receptors are known on the surface of a wide variety of cells, including blood cells, which allow the involvement of the plasminogen-plasmin system in inflammatory processes, differentiation, cell migration, etc. There are also a number of potential mediating proteins capable of interacting with plasminogen and its specific receptor on the cell surface. However, which plasminogen partner proteins are involved in the regulation of the fibrinolytic process on the surface of blood cells involved in blood clot formation have not yet been established. To further use in the investigation of plasminogen interaction with blood cells and search for plasminogen partner proteins on these cells, human plasminogen was obtained from donor blood plasma and characterized, affinity sorbent plasminogen-sepharose was synthesized, polyclonal anti-plasminogen antibodies rabbit were isolated and characterized.
