The purpose of the work is to develop the scientific bases of electrosynthesis technology of the newest multifunctional materials, which will provide corrosion protection, catalytic activity of electrode materials in power generating devices, magnetic characteristics and microhardness for information storage, sensitivity of sensory elements. Methods of study - linear voltammetry, potentiometry, impedanceometry, scanning electron and atomic force microscopy, X-ray spectroscopy and X-ray fluorescence analysis. According to the results of the research, the influence of the polarization method and electrolysis parameters on the quantitative and phase composition of ternary alloys of cobalt and iron with refractory metals was determined. It is proved that the phase composition of coatings deposited on direct and impulse current differs due to a more complete reduction of intermediate oxides of alloying components (tungsten and molybdenum) by ad-atoms of hydrogen during interruption of polarization. The expediency of using a pulsed current for deposition of more uniform in the composition and morphology of iron triad coatings with tungsten, molybdenum and zirconium is shown. It is established that the alloys include incompletely restored oxides of refractory metals, which is a feature of composite coatings, and the formation of the second phase occurs directly in the electrode process. This allows flexible management of the composition and morphology and, consequently, the functional properties of the synthesized materials. The phase composition of ternary alloys and the distribution of alloy-forming metals by the thickness of coatings, which affects the magnetic and corrosion-mechanical properties of the materials, are determined. Methodological approaches to electrodeposition of vanadium-containing coatings by alloys and composites have been developed.
