The purpose of the work is to obtain a technical and economic effect in industry when developing flowing parts of high-head hydraulic turbines of radial-diagonal, diagonal-axial and dual direct-flow capsule ones by creating mathematical models of optimized work processes that will significantly increase efficiency, increase reliability and durability during their operation. Research method - the methods of mathematical modeling of a hydraulic turbine workflow, methods for solving the direct and inverse problems of flow past a lattice of profiles, and methods of computer numerical simulation are used. Based on the results of the research, new types of hydraulic turbines were developed, including the improvement of the mathematical model of flow, which allowed expanding the possibilities of their operation in a wider range of pressure and flow rates with high efficiency, as well as increased reliability and durability of the equipment. The scope of the work results is power engineering. The economic effect of introducing the results of research work at Ukrainian hydroelectric power stations, as well as during the development, improvement and reconstruction of hydroturbine equipment, can be up to 10-20 million USA dollars per year.
