The purpose of the work is to develop calculated methods for predicting the reliability and analysis of the structural strength of new and composite materials, as well as to determine, on the basis of the proposed approaches, the regularities of the impact of degradation processes caused by fatigue, creep, corrosion and aging of such materials on the life of elements of engineering structures in service. The finite element method with the use of modern software systems is used for the analysis of stress-strain state in the studied materials. The study of damage accumulation processes is presented in the framework of effective stresses concept by numerical methods, using the methods of mathematical analysis and theory of probability. Within the implementation of the third phase of the project, a complex of applied research was conducted, which continues and applies the results obtained during the implementation of the second phase of the project. Some of these studies were conducted within the framework of scientific internships of the project contractors at the Institute of Technical Mechanics, Otto-von-Guericke University, Magdeburg (Germany).
