The structure of the target nucleus is described in the relativistic mean-field models. The calculations of a complete set of observables in the elastic p + 40Ca and p + 208Pb scattering at 800 MeV are carried out, and the effects of the difference between scalar and vector nucleon densities in the description of the observables in p-A scattering are investigated. The amplitude of the Higgs-boson decay to the intermediate neutral Z boson and lepton pair is derived in framework of the effective field theory of the Standard model using the dimension-6 operators. The study of changes in the shape of nuclei in the chains of even-even Kr, Sr, Zr, Mo, and Ru isotopes is carried out based on the relativistic Hartree-Bogoliubov (RHB) model with DD-PC1 and DD-ME2 Lagrangians. The pairing of nucleons is described by a separable pairing interaction. The dependence of the calculated nuclei characteristics on the choice of pairing forces is investigated. The properties of chains of Zr isotopes are investigated using the Hartree-Fock method with the effective Skyrme forces, and pairing is treated in the traditional BCS approximation. The obtained results show that in the vicinity of N = 60 for some Sr, Zr and Mo isotopes, depending on the choice of the pairing force parameters, large jumps in the mean square charge radii and quadrupole deformation parameters are observed.
