A new class of high-entropy non-cobalt Fe-Mn-Cr-Ni-Al alloys with micro- and nanoduplex structure was developed. The composition of the alloys was optimized, which allowed to increase their yield strength to 1000 MPa at 25 °C and to 930 MPa at 400 °C. The plasticity of the alloys is maintained at a high level (more than 50% in compression). These values are far superior to the characteristics of modern reactor steels in the standard state and therefore new alloys are promising for use in nuclear power. 2. The process of controlling the microstructure of T91 ferrite-martensitic steel has been developed, which is promising for use in new generation nuclear reactors and in thermonuclear reactors. Intense plastic deformation at high temperatures allowed to obtain a microstructure with a grain size of less than 100 nm, which led to the record for this steel values of yield strength (1279 MPa at 25 °C and 502 MPa at 600 °C) and strength (1340 MPa at 25 °C and 511 MPa at 600 °C). In contrast to the widely used methods of intensive plastic deformation in the world, the process introduced in this work allows to control the microstructure and properties of steel on an industrial scale. 3. A number of alloys based on the Fe - Cr - Al (alloy) system doped with Y, Mo, and Zr have been developed to apply protective coatings to the fuel claddings. The structure of alloys and the effect of doping on the strength, ultimate strength and durability of materials were studied. A coating process for Zr-1% Nb alloy tubes was developed and found that coatings made of 20 ?m-thick prevent the destruction of fuel claddings in the air at 1100 °C for 1 hour.
