It is shown that 131I administration in different modes leads to significant changes in the system of bone marrow hematopoiesis, in particular red blood cell line, destabilization of bone marrow cell’s’ chromosomal apparatus of irradiated rats and their offspring. Bone marrow hematopoiesis, oxidative metabolism and chromosomal instability of bone marrow cells of murine rodents from the territories of the Chernobyl exclusion zone with different levels of radionuclide contamination were evaluated. The results of dynamic field observations and spectrometric studies, containing data on the physicochemical forms of radionuclides in soils and their migration in the selected components of forest ecosystems are presented.
