The XPS results indicate the low hygroscopicity and high chemical stability of the АPb2Br5 (A = K, Rb) surfaces. DFT-calculations of the main optical parameters, such as the absorption coefficient, dielectric functions, refractive index, extinction coefficient, optical reflectivity coefficient and electron energy-loss spectrum of АPb2Br5 (A = K, Rb) compounds, have been made in the thesis.Measurements of the optical absorption spectra of the АPb2Br5 (A = K, Rb) compounds reveal three areas of the spectral dependence of the absorption coefficient: exponential section in the band ranging from 0 to 100 cm -1 and the region of the direct and indirect optical transitions higher this band.
