The basic elements and components, as well as the factors that have a decisive influence on the thermal load of an electric machine, were revealed, which made it possible to propose a new design solution for reducing the heat of the extreme packets of the stator core. Diagnostic signs of origin and development of defects and anomalies of different nature are determined, the basic principles of construction of the system of diagnostics of turbogenerators of power units of nuclear power plants are formulated. New physical regularities of anomalous and emergency modes of heat exchange in thin films of liquid lubricating agents in friction vapors, which are characteristic of the extraordinary conditions of operation of the system of mechanical sealing of the shaft and bearing units of sliding of main circulating pumps (MCP); On the basis of information parameters of vibroacoustic diagnostic signals of MCP, a new generalized statistical criterion of Bayesian type was developed, as well as a diagnostic model based on it, the application of which provides a comprehensive assessment of the vibrational state of the units. Due to this, most failures can be prevented in advance with the qualitative improvement of diagnostic support by implementing the developed methods of early automatic recognition of pre-emergency and anomalous operational states of critical importance for the safety of the MCP units. The developed methods and tools are implemented in the design and production at the State Enterprise "Electrotyazhmash" Plant, as well as in the research practice of other organizations.
