Bench tests of biofuel-diesel mixtures on their basis were carried out. Esters based on technical fats and alcohols with different lengths of hydrocarbon radical have been synthesized and the conditions for their production have been optimized. The structure of the esters obtained is investigated. The basic physicochemical properties of the surfactants obtained and recommendations for their application are investigated. Samples of citrus and apple pectins were obtained by water and acid-salt extraction of vegetable waste: hydratopectin - 6.58 and 4.35%, protopectin - 16.3 and 25.7%. The viscosimetric method established the viscosity characteristics for aqueous solutions of citrus and apple pectins. The structure of water- and acid-soluble pectins was studied by IR spectroscopy, and the morphology of the films was studied by AFM on a quartz glass substrate. From the hydrolysis of lignin when using microwave technology material is obtained, in its properties similar to potassium lignohumate with a yield of 40%. The main advantage of this material, produced in this way - the absence of unwanted elements in its composition, which is a prerequisite for its testing in laboratory and field experiments on a number of crops. Synthesized hydrophobic ionic liquids include cations of 1,3-dioctylimidazolium, 1-octyloxycarbonylmethyl-3-octylimidazolium, 1-octylpyridinium, 1-octyloxycarbonyl-methylpyrimidine and tri-octylobinyl Nanosized copper-zinc-alumina catalysts were synthesized by the method of slow coprecipitation from the corresponding metal salts and by the introduction into the system of aluminum oxide nanoparticles from its suspension at the synthesis stage. It was found that under equal conditions of the experiment, the yield and selectivity for methanol increased by 1.3–1.5 times in comparison with an industrial catalyst of similar composition.
