Karazin Kharkiv National University popup.description2  According to the technical assignment of the third stage of the project, micellar rate effects of surfactants on the kinetics of nitrophenol violet anion reaction with HO– ion, as well as encapsulation process of the novel potential anti-tumor drugs, europium coordination complexes, intonovel composite drug delivery platforms, based on liposomes and amyloid hydrogelswere investigated. Furthermore, the all-atom model of an MS2 bacteriophage capsidwas built, and the structural characteristics of the capsid and the dynamics of the surrounding solution were examined using molecular dynamics simulation. Finally, novel potential dyes for the measurements of the electrostatic potential of surfactant micelles, as well as effects of the micelles of the speed of bimolecular reactions in water solutions, have been suggested. Objectives of the study –interactions of: europium coordination complexes with conventional and hybridized liposomes, triphenylamine dyes with nucleophiles in surfactant micellar solutions, nitrophenol violet with HO– ion, etc. Methods of the study: fluorescence spectroscopy, spectrophotometry, dynamic light scattering, equilibrium dialysis, molecular dynamics simulations. Results of the study can be employed in organic synthesis, pharmacology, especially for the development of effective therapeutic approaches against tumor, as well as against “superbacteria”-induced diseases, showing resistance to antibiotics.
