The subject of the study is theoretical aspects and methodological approaches to the evaluation of indicators of economic growth of trade enterprises. Research methods. The theoretical and methodological basis of the research is the conceptual provisions of economic theory, firm theory, management, planning theory, conclusions of modern foreign and domestic economic thought in the sphere of management of economic development of the enterprise. In order to achieve this goal, general and special methods of scientific cognition have been applied in the research. During the study of the theoretical and methodological foundations of economic development management, its separate structural elements: historical and logical, comparative analysis, synthesis, scientific abstraction, induction and deduction. The analysis of factual and statistical material is based on methods of comparison, grouping, analysis of specific situations, special methods of economic analysis. The essence of economic growth of a trade enterprise is defined in the work; the role of efficiency of operational activity of trade enterprise in ensuring economic growth is determined; proposes the expedient directions of development of trade enterprises of Ukraine, in particular in the FMCG food market, aimed at restoring their economic growth; the proposals on estimation of innovative potential of employees of the enterprise are formulated; suggestions for building a system of indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of strategic decisions of the enterprise are formulated.
