Ya. Usikov Institute for Radiophysics and Electronics NAS of Ukraine popup.description2 The report consists of 2 volumes: Vol. 1: 5 sections, 173 pages, 91 Figs, 2 tables, 103 refs.; Vol. 2: 166 pages, 8 Tables, 40 Fig., 1 Suppl., 109 refs. Vol. 1 is devoted to video-pulse radar. Active pulse antennas for radiation and undistorted reception of short pulses of an electromagnetic field are theoretically and experimentally investigated. Methods for measuring the electrophysical parameters of dielectric and ferrite materials using short pulses are proposed. The processes occurring in the stroboscopic transformers during the registration of pulses of nano- and subnanosecond durations with noise at various signal-to-noise ratios are studied. Methods for removing the background from the radar data and determining the coordinates of objects in the near zone of the antenna system are proposed. Methods of generating powerful pulses of the nanosecond range using diodes and non-linear transmission lines are investigated. The results are implemented in two UWB pulsed radars. Vol. 2 is devoted to remote sensing and diagnostics of the state of objects and media. The theory and methods of identification of objects are developed. A model of the stochastic process was synthesized to increase spectral resolution and increase the probability of detection in a complex noise environment. A prototype of radar has been developed for detecting moving objects behind optically opaque obstacles. The conditions for the propagation of electromagnetic waves in a dispersed medium are investigated. Diffraction-type antennas were experimentally studied for examining objects at small distances in the mode of formation of focused rays. The expediency of combining information from cm and mm radars systems to increase the likelihood of detecting objects is substantiated. The dependence of the transfer function of the photometric sensor on the exposure value was studied. The results are implemented in active and passive radar systems for monitoring objects and environments. Product Description popup.authors Yegorov Anatolij D. Varyaniza-Roschupkina Liudmyla A.
