For the first time, a characteristic of the oxygen regimes of the body is given and its numerical values are obtained under conditions of the development of chronic methemoglobinemia. The features of changes in O2 transport in the body in rats with the development of chronic nitrite methemoglobinemia of varying severity were revealed. The levels of oxygen parameters at which oxygen delivery to tissues is disturbed during methemoglobinemia lead to the development of a hypoxic state. The main causes and mechanisms of the development of a hypoxic state with nitrite methemoglobinemia of varying severity were identified.
