The elemental and technical composition of the components of the experimental mixtures, the sintering properties of the obtained mixtures, and the influence of biomass quality and pyrolysis conditions on the yield and quality of the products are determined. A laboratory stand of compatible biomass and coal pyrolysis was developed and a pilot plant for the production of biochar by oxidative pyrolysis was created. A facility has been created to study the electrical properties of carbon materials and biochar. The mathematical model of oxidative pyrolysis of biomass in a dense layer has been improved, which takes into account the empirical dependences of the velocity of the reverse heat wave, the change in the volume of the coke residue and the temperature of the combustion front. The parameters of the process of biochar production and their influence on the technological and electrical properties of the finished product are determined. Two-stage technology is proposed: pyrolysis-heat treatment, biomass processing. The temperature parameters of pyrolysis of waste of vegetable origin in the conditions of the overburden layer (drum rotary kiln) with lack of oxygen at which high process productivity and minimal loss of pyrocarbon are established. The scheme of thermal reactor for joint thermal treatment of carbonaceous materials of plant origin with maximum utilization of thermal and fuel components of secondary energy potential is proposed. Compositions of slag mixtures for heat insulation of steel in the ladle, desulfurization, dephosphorylation, deoxidation and carbonization of steel, use as a protective mixture in the mold of a caster, a highly active reducing agent. Deposits of the source sinter are developed on the basis of technogenic waste of coal thermal power plants and shale for receiving iron ore agglomerates.
