To improve the degree of protection of fuel and lubricants it was studied the possibility of using mixtures of two fluorescent dyes for their simultaneous detection in fuel and lubricants. In addition, to expand the methodological basis of fuel labeling, the possibility of identifying markers in fuel and lubricants was investigated by recording the luminescence lifetime as an analytical signal. As a result of the project, it was found that the use of mixtures of two fluorescent dyes (markers) makes it possible to distinguish at least five different batches of labeled fuel, due to the different intensity of their emission bands. The possibility of improvement the degree of marking protection and increasing the number of batches of labeled fuel by additional registration of the luminescence lifetime is shown. It has been found that the coordination compounds of europium and terbium can be used to label "light" fuel and lubricants with detection by time- resolved luminescent spectroscopy. A set of demonstration labels has been produced, consisting of mixtures of fluorescent dyes, which allows the marking of five different batches of fuel and lubricants; procedures of obtaining and applying fluorescent labels of fuel, as well as procedures of their detection in fuel and lubricants has been developed.
