The comparative analysis of genotypes frequencies distribution for UGTA1, MTHFR, and ITPA polymorphisms between groups of patients who responded (CR + PR) to GC chemotherapy and in whom such a response was absent (PD + SD) did not find a statistically significant difference. There is a tendency for an increase in the proportion (0.654) of patients – G allele carriers (AG + GG) genotype of the GSTP1 gene in the (CR + PR) group comparatively to (PD + SD) group (0.346), but this increase does not reach the confidence threshold. Further studies with the extension of the analyzed groups of patients will confirm the informativeness of the polymorphic variant GSTP1 A313G as a pharmacogenetic marker of chemotherapy response in patients with bladder cancer from Ukraine.
