It consists in the precipitation of iodine from wastes of production of iodine-containing scintillation crystals. The technology highly pure iodine obtaining was engineered. Its essence consists in sublimation of charge iodine in the presence of admixture absorber, soda ash. The technological routines providing the production of 380 kg of pure iodine per operation and 200 kg of highly pure iodine per operationwere labored.
