Object of study: proliferative activity of breast tumors and structural and functional changes in the thyroid gland in patients with malignant breast tumors affected by the Chernobyl accident (31 people). The purpose of the study is to study the level of proliferative activity of tumors and the nature of structural and functional changes in the thyroid gland in patients with various stages of breast cancer affected by the Chernobyl accident. Research methods: general clinical, radiographic, ultrasonographic, biochemical, morphological, immunohistochemical, methods of mathematical statistics. Results and their novelty. In patients with breast cancer affected by the Chernobyl accident and living in contaminated territories, the proliferation index of less than 20% was diagnosed in 9.7% of patients, from 20 to 30% in 19.3% of patients, from 31 to 50% in 41 , 9% and more than 50% in 29% of patients. Structural changes in the thyroid gland were detected in 80, 6%, of which, prior to the examination in the clinic, 71% of patients did not know about the presence of pathological changes in the thyroid gland. Changes in indicators of functional activity of the thyroid gland were detected in 35.5% of patients. Changes in the reproductive panel markers were diagnosed in 19.3% of patients with breast cancer. Decrease in Ki-67 parameters under the action of neoadjuvant cytostatic therapy was observed in 74.2% of patients, and in 9.7% there was a complete pathomorphological and clinical regression of the tumor. The positive dynamics of Ki-67 for NAPHT was observed in 83.9% of patients. The stabilization of proliferative activity after NAPHT was noted in 12.9% and the increase in proliferative activity in 3.2% of patients. The decrease in the size of the primary tumor of the MH after NAPHT was diagnosed in 96.8% of patients. Product Description popup.authors Antonenko Uriy V. Bugaitsov Sergii H. Рolischuk Valentin V.
