Research methods – infrared (IR) and electron spectroscopy, electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy, X-ray structural (PCTA) and X-ray (RFA) analyzes, cyclic voltammetry, magnetochemistry. EPR spectroscopy revealed that the filtrate of the reaction mixtures generally contains two equilibrium complexes of cuprum. Studies of magnetic properties have confirmed the formal oxidation rates of metal centers and indicate the absence of appreciable exchange interactions. The compounds obtained have been found to contain mixed metal vanadium-substituted octamolybdate-based polyoxomolybdates. Hybrid compounds based on mixed-metal polyoxometalates and their thermal decomposition products have shown activity in the photocatalytic decomposition of water with oxygen evolution. Based on the obtained compounds, film polymer composites were created to obtain electro-optical media. It has been established that the irradiation of light absorption anisotropy was detected for the first time for this class of compounds by irradiation of composites with linearly polarized light.
