It has been substantiated that the partial rock layers weakening of the coal-overlaying formation in the form of their discrete disturbance in space in tension areas and high concentrations of compressive stresses leads to an increase in the volume of rocks exposed to active deformations. The influence has been proved of lowering the roof at the end sections of the stope face during the process of fastening system loading in the extraction mine workings, as well as the relationship of these processes with a number of technological parameters of the stope works performance in space and time; therefore, the patterns of development the loading on the fastening system were studied in a rheological statement. The necessity to take into account a number of patterns for objective and accurate geomechanical processes modelling during extraction mine workings reuse has been substantiated: anisotropy of the deformation characteristics of collapsed rocks in the form of distance function to the stope face, as well as a decrease in the deformation modulus of collapsed rocks by several orders of magnitude; the SSS of caved and compacted rocks is approximated to hydrostatic one due to their high deformability. Modelling results of the research object (the massif near the extraction mine working, the end section of the longwall face, the mined-out space, the areas ahead of the stope face, the areas of mine working outside the zone of the stope works influence) are in exact accordance with the experimental observations and the developed mechanism for displacement of the coal-overlaying formation.
