The preliminary assessment of the process of implementation of the National Security Strategy of Ukraine was carried out, as the main document that defines the state efforts in shaping the security of business, identified the features and problems of its formation at the current stage in Ukraine; a simplified model of the integral indicator of the security of the business environment is proposed, a comparative assessment of the level of economic security of Ukrainian business with the countries of the Black Sea and the Visegrad Group is made; the relationship between the integral indicator of the security of the business environment and the individual indicators characterizing the state of business activity in Ukraine; the interim results of the regulatory policy reform process in Ukraine and their impact on Ukraine's ranking in the system of major indices of the world organizations have been evaluated. The level of economic security of entrepreneurship in Ukraine is assessed and the main tendencies of change of indicators of economic security of enterprise as a whole and by types of economic activity are identified. The insufficiency of the increase of the security of the investment environment of Ukraine for the motivation of the investment activity of the owners of capital has been identified. An integral indicator of the security of the investment environment has been developed; it is established that it primarily reflects the attitude of international organizations to the country as a borrower.
