The research method is a physical and numerical experiment. Experimental models and tools for measuring the characteristics of turbulent near-wall flow, spatial and temporal parameters of vortex structures have been created. During the experiments, visual and instrumental studies of the vortex and jet flows that were generated inside the wells, kinematic and dynamic characteristics of the velocity and pressure fields over the streamlined surface with the oval well system and on the surface of the wells and plates were carried out. Numerical models of non-stationary processes of vortex structure formation of turbulent wall flows on inhomogeneous surfaces have been developed.
