Study object: social relationship on food production, distribution, and consumption based on the direct interaction of producers and consumers. Research design: abstract-logical, monograph, comparative analysis, systematization and classification, expert evaluation methods. Research outcomes: the foreign experience for the development of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) based on the direct interaction of farmers and food consumers, adequate sharing of responsibility, risks and production benefits is systematized; the essence, fundamental criteria, and advantages of CSA both for its participants and rural communities and society in general are revealed. The organizational and economic mechanism for the implementation of local CSA models in Ukraine in order to provide public food security to improve quality of life is substantiated, the target stimulation program for the development of such models is suggested, components and staged action plan on its realization is elaborated. Extent of adoption: the research and analysis note based on the study results was prepared and sent to the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine. Recommendation on the usage of the study result: the proposals formulated during the research study can be implemented in the improvement of directions and mechanisms of state support for agriculture. Social performance f the research work: improvement of food quality and safety, promotion of social capital development, protection of ecology and landscapes, development of farm potential.
