Registration Date 20-01-2020 Organization State institution "Institute for the Protection of Children and Adolescents of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine" popup.description2 Object: morphofunctional state of cardiovascular and hepatobiliary systems, hormonal-metabolic disorders in adolescent boys with signs of androgen insufficiency. Objective: determination of hypoandrogenia pathogenetic role in the formation of pathology of cardiovascular and hepatobiliary systems in adolescent boys by studying the relationship of hormonal disorders with oxidative imbalance, insulin resistance, dyslipidemia and low-intensity systemic inflammation. Methods: clinical, biochemical, immuno-enzymatic, immunological, instrumental. Results: significant abnormalities in hormonal status were found in all patients: low levels of androgens in combination with signs of hyperostrogeny, changes in indicators of gonadotropic hormones. In 59% of adolescents with hypoandrogenia, changes in lipid profile were reported mainly due to the increase in proatherogenic and decrease in antiatherogenic lipid fractions which contributes to development of pathology in hepatobiliary and cardiovascular systems. Stimulation of free radical oxidation, inhibition of enzymatic and compensatory increase of non-enzymatic element of the antioxidant protection system is registered in patients with hypoandrogenia and functional disorders of hepatobiliary and cardiovascular systems. In boys with hypoandrogenia, disorders of different parts of the immune system in relation to the control group are significantly more frequently noted. According to the experimental study, it was proved that the effect of hypoandrogenia on the state of oxidative balance is tissue-specific and age-dependent. Novelty: significant pathogenetic factors of cardiovascular and hepatobiliary systems in conditions of androgen deficiency were defined for the first time in adolescent boys. Efficiency: implementation will allow to form high-risk groups and to improve quality of functional disorders diagnostics in cardiovascular and hepatobiliary systems in adolescents with signs of androgen insufficiency, which in its turn Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
