Arrays of 2D nanostructures and their research are created. In the process of research, fundamental knowledge was obtained in physics of the interaction of electromagnetic waves of the optical range with nanostructures, including periodic ones, in which resonances of plasmons, surface plasmon polaritons, and waveguide modes can be excited. In particular, plasmon nanostructures can significantly increase the efficiency of converting the energy of electromagnetic radiation into electrical energy. The sensory technology is another area in which new tangible results are expected.
