The purpose of the work is to carry out research into the sources of methane release and to coordinate the work of the whole lava of block 5 of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE» without illumination of the outgoing air stream and the operation of the combine according to the shuttle scheme. Research methods – generalization and analysis of results, methods of mat. statistics, calculations by standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining-geological and mining characteristics of the excavation section of the entire lava block of block 5 of d4 of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE» were analyzed. Developed "Recommendations for ensuring safe mining of coal bed d4, inclined to gas-dynamic phenomena, whole lava of block 5 of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE» without refreshment of the outgoing ventilation air stream.
