Trends of SMEs development are analyzed, taking into account the specifics of dynamic market processes in Ukraine and other countries of the world. Small and medium-sized enterprises development’s basic problems are considered. The options for their solution in various countries of the world, and in particular in Ukraine, are shown. Both the results of modern scientific research and the practical aspects of SMEs resource (labor, financial, industrial, information and infrastructure) support are summarized. Monitoring of options for SMEs financing were carried out, effective schemes for its development were highlighted. Trends of information technology application for SMEs are disclosed. Variants and schemes of regulation of organizational forms of interaction between SMEs at the Ukrainian economy are shown. A methodology for these enterprises production potential development in the context of accelerated scientific and technological progress is disclosed.
