Objective: improving the effectiveness of radiation treatment for cancer of the genitals, head and neck by optimizing topometric training using in vivo dosimetry to ensure the quality of radiation therapy. Methods and apparatus: radiological, morphological, clinical-instrumental, statistical, apparatus ROCUS-AM, linear accelerator Clinac 600, dosimeter «UNIDOSE-E», planning system Eclipse 8.9, X-ray computer tomograph «Toshiba Aquilion 16», simulator «Acuity». Theoretical and practical results: the pattern of deviation between the planned dose and the results of in vivo dosimetry, depending on constitutional data, has been revealed. The influence of constitutional features on the frequency of radiation reactions has been established – using the Clinac 600, the radiation reactions are 1.8 times more frequent. Methods of pre-radiation preparation of patients for remote radiotherapy for tumors of the oral cavity, head and neck and uterine cancer have been developed. Novelty: introduced intra- and inter-individual variability of in vivo dosimetry results during radiation treatment of genital and cancer of head and neck patients. For the first time on the basis of in vivo dosimetry data, rational clinical planning and dosimetric control were provided to ensure the quality of radiation therapy. The approach to the implementation of radiation therapy was further developed through the use of individual in vivo dosimetry indicators to determine the frequency of control of irradiation parameters to improve the accuracy of the scheduled dose during the radiation therapy session. The effectiveness of implementation: reducing the frequency of radiation reactions shortens the hospital stay, its saves the cost of drug therapy, which saves about 8000 UAH. for one patient.
