The purpose of the work is to establish the regularities of the kinetics of anodic surface treatment of titanium alloys and stainless steels for medical purposes in low-temperature ionic liquids. Methods of research - cyclic voltammetry, gravimetry, ultraviolet spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy. The regularities of electrochemical anode treatment of biomedical alloys in low-temperature ionic liquids are determined. It is shown that in low-temperature eutectic solvents of type III (Ethaline, Reline, Glyceline), which are mixtures of Quaternary ammonium salt (choline chloride) and proton donors (ethylene glycol, urea, glycerin), high efficiency of polishing of biomedical metals and alloys, can be achieved by a unique combination of the properties of these solvents: high viscosity and relatively high electrical conductivity. It was found that the processes of anodic treatment in low-temperature eutectic solvents overflow under diffusion control, and their speed is limited by the delivery of chloride ions to the surface of the sample to be polished and removal of the anode reaction products from the surface of the electrode in the solvent. Branch of use: From С 25.61 - metal processing and coating of metals; M 72.1 - research and experimental development in the field of natural and technical sciences.
