Purpose: To investigate the main indicators of coagulation, vascular and platelet links of the hemostasis system, the fibrinolysis system in the acute phase of ischemic stroke and to find out the role of proteolysis processes under conditions of chemical burn of the esophagus and ischemic stroke. Research methods: chromatographic, electrophoretic, enzyme immunoassay, spectrophotometric and mathematical statistics methods. For the first time, a comprehensive study of the state of the hemostasis system in patients with ischemic stroke was performed, which allows to supplement the current understanding of the biochemical basis of the development and progression of this pathology. The prothrombogenic nature of changes in the hemostasis system, due to asynchronization in the functioning of all components of this system, has been confirmed. A comparative analysis of the parameters characterizing the state of the fibrinolysis system was performed, the results of which revealed a decrease in fibrinolytic potential in patients with ischemic stroke. It is established that the acute period of ischemic stroke is characterized by the development of a state of endogenous intoxication, confirmed by the accumulation in the serum of molecules of medium masses, oligopeptides and a decrease in the concentration of total protein and albumin. In the course of the research, data were obtained indicating the involvement of proteolytically active plasminogen derivatives and matrix metalloproteinases in the acute stage of ischemic stroke. The state of the proteolysis system under conditions of chemical burn of the esophagus of pubescent rats was evaluated. Changes in the proteolytic profile of blood serum and quantitative changes in the content of protein fractions during chemical burns of the esophagus are shown.
