Aim of the work: To give a detailed description of the state of the natural complexes of the objects of the Emerald Network of the Middle Dnieper region, to identify typical and unique for this region natural complexes by studying the species and coenotic diversity of the most important biota groups of the region; monitoring the populations of some rare and background species of the Kaniv Nature Reserve. Research methods: field studies (route-floristic, geobotanical, population) distribution and ecology of rare and background species of animals and plants in the Middle Dnieper region, methods of phytoindication, comparative analysis of literary sources, methods of mathematical statistics. The research was conducted within the limits of Cherkasy and Poltava and Kyiv regions. A comprehensive field survey of the flora and the current state of the vegetation of a number of existing and perspective nature reserves of the Middle Dnieper was conducted. The state of populations of some protected species of vascular plants of the flora of the Kaniv Nature Reserve is investigated. New habitats for rare plant species in the region have been identified. Based on the method of phytoindication, the range of the transformer species - shrub amorphous in floodplain phytocenoses was investigated according to 12 ecological factors. The taxonomic diversity of the periphyton communities of the coastal fortification structures of the lower canyon hydroelectric power station within the Kaniv Nature Reserve was evaluated. New species have been installed in the ornithofauna of the reserve. The rapid growth of Columba oenas and Lanius excubitor in the Red Data Book of Ukraine is shown. As a result of bioacoustic research an electronic catalog of sound signals has been created, which allows to establish the individual identity of birds.  Product Description popup.authors Bezsmertna Olesya O.
