Purpose: to synthesize complex oxide compounds by methods of solution-melt, solid-phase, hydrothermal synthesis, co-precipitation and sol-gel and their characterization by physico-chemical methods of investigation. Methods of research: methods of powder X-ray diffractometry, IR and electron spectroscopy, thermogravimetric method and chemical analysis, study of antimicrobial properties of synthesized compounds. A systematic search and synthesis of new Na3.5MIII compounds 0.5Fe1.5 (PO4) 3 (NZP type), KSrFe2 (PO4) 3 (VO4) x (Langbeinit type) was conducted and conditions were found for the chemical modification of apatite-type calcium phosphates. For Ca10-xNah (PO4) 6-z (CO3) z (OH) 2 nanoparticles, it has been found that with increasing z value, the degree of CaaNa substitution increases and the possibility of regulating their particle size distribution by heat treatment is shown. The antimicrobial action of the synthesized apatites against conditionally pathogenic microorganisms of Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Streptococcus pyogenes was revealed.
