Research domain – regularities of the stress-strain state in the manufacture of electrodes and temperature stress-strain modes of creating a functional layer on the surface of the product, improving methods for electromechanical coating by creating a hybrid neural system for managing the recovery process and hardening the surface of products. Theoretical and practical results – theoretical foundations and technologies of electrocontact surfacing of composite electrode materials are investigated. Developed: complex of mathematical and finite element models of thermal deformation state of material at electrocontact surfacing with composite electrode materials. On the basis of the created mathematical model the automated design of technological modes of electrocontact surfacing with composite electrode materials was carried out. Software that allows to determine the energy-power characteristics of the process of forming the coating during electrocontact welding, taking into account the current distribution of thermal and geometric indices of the material in the thermal deformation cell. Novelty - it is found that the change in the coefficient of kinematic asymmetry significantly affects the formation of the coating due to the increase in the coefficient of friction. The use of asymmetric process of electrocontact welding allows to reduce thermomechanical influence on electrode material in the welding zone. Integration efficiency – a new method of increasing the adhesion strength of the welded layer to the workpiece surface by creating kinematic asymmetry in electrocontact welding with composite electrode materials is developed. Application area – in the manufacture of multilayer materials, restoration and strengthening of the surfaces of parts, manufacture of new products with high tribological properties.
