The results of studies have shown that the prophylactic and therapeutic administration of oligoribonucleotides and oligoribonucleotide complexes with D-mannitol reduces the mRNA levels of Nos2 and Xdh genes, which are overexpressed by influenza virus. An assumption is made about the possible mechanism of the influenza action complexes of oligoribonucleotides with D-mannitol by regulating the expression of the Nos2 and Xdh and Arg2 genes.
