The purpose of the work is biochemical mechanisms of development of damage to the cartilage of rats under conditions of monoiodacetate-induced osteoarthritis and under the action of chondroprotector and multiprobiotic. Research methods: histological, biochemical, immunological, molecular-genetic methods and methods of variational statistics. A comprehensive study of the biochemical parameters of inflammation, oxidative-antioxidant balance and markers of the structural structure of cartilage in rats with monoiodacetate-induced osteoarthritis and with the action of chondroprotector (chondroitin sulfate) and multiprobiotics. It was found that in experimental osteoarthritis in the blood the immunocytokine system is activated: the level of proinflammatory (IL-1β, TNF-α) and anti-inflammatory (IL-10) cytokines is increased, which is accompanied by an increase in the content of prostaglandin E2 and molecules of low and medium molecular weight, development of endogenous intoxication and manifestation of progression of inflammation. Also, in this pathology, cartilage and blood levels of matrix metalloproteinases (MMP-1, 2, 3, 8) are increased, which play an important role in tissue remodeling and development of inflammation. In experimental osteoarthritis intensification of free radical processes is revealed: in cartilage and blood, the content of superoxide radical, hydrogen peroxide, products of lipid peroxidation (diene conjugates, TBK-active compounds, shifdobium bases) is increased. and basic).  Product Description popup.authors Vovk Andriy A.
