ELECTRIC POWER SYSTEM, MULTIFUNCTIONAL CONVERTER, RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES, NETWORK INVERTER, MODELING Object of research. Electromagnetic processes in converting units of combined electric power systems with renewable sources. Aim of work. Creation of standard solutions for converting units of combined electric power systems of local obiects with improved energy indicators. Purpose - the development of the theory and practice of combined power systems with renewable sources. Research methods - general principles of the theory of electric circuits and modern semiconductor converters, automatic control theory, mathematical modeling and numerical and analytical methods of calculation on a PC. A new understanding of the subject of research is the development of the modern concept of creating multifunctional converting units of combined electric power systems with the maximum use of their equipment, taking into account the interests of the power system and the consumer of the local object. In this case, the energy efficiency of the converters is determined by: achieving compliance with IEC standards; efficient use of equipment; reduction of energy losses in the distribution network; ensuring efficiency at the level of modern samples of semiconductor converters; normalization of the functioning of consumers of the object in abnormal mode and emergency modes of the distribution network; expanding the functionality of the converter blocks of combined electric power systems with intelligent control systems. The scope is alternative energy. The introduction of multifunctional converting units of combined electric power systems will contribute to improving the energy security of Ukraine.
